Prime Minister Mottley lauds Coleridge and Parry students for selfless act

It was an act depicting generosity of spirit – one which epitomized what true compassion was about.

These were the sentiments expressed by Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley, as she presented gifts to five students of the Coleridge and Parry School for their kindness and bravery in helping an elderly man who was discovered at the side of the road and appeared to be ill.

The CP students who were accompanied by their principal, recounted the situation where they offered a helping hand to ease the distress of the elderly gentleman while seeking emergency assistance from a number of national agencies.

This act touched Prime Minister Mottley so much that she requested an immediate meeting with the youth.

Prime Minister Mottley says the kindness shown by these students must be saluted, noting this is what is required to take any country through challenging times.
