Property owners could be held accountable for cow itch

Barbadians caught with cow itch growing on their property could soon feel the full weight of the law.

Government is making changes to the Health Service legislation to hold property owners accountable in such cases.

Attorney General, Dale Marshall says amendments should be ready in about two weeks.

The resident, Joel Bowen spoke about the challenges his family was having coping with cow itch growing on his neighbour’s land.

His question was initially answered by Prime Minister, Mia Amor Mottley.
