The two female employees injured during the attempted robbery of Republic Bank in Wildey, have been discharged from hospital.
A masked assailant brandishing a firearm entered the bank shortly before 9:30 in the morning and demanded cash before firing twice, injuring the employees.
Providing an update, the Bank’s Marketing and Corporate Communications Manager, Sophia Allsopp, confirmed the two women are now recovering at home.
