Barbados has recorded 16 road fatalities for the year, and the Barbados Road Safety Association is hoping that number will not increase during the holiday season.
Vice President, John Herbert is therefore urging motorists to slow down and exercise care when using the roads during this period.
He made the appeal during a recent press conference.
Mr. Herbert says experts believe it’s possible to drive accident-free, and he’s therefore hoping 2022 will be a year of zero road fatalities.
He also responded to a question on whether they had been any further updates on the introduction of breathalyser testing.
