The Co-coordinator of the National COVID-19 Vaccination Programme has dismissed rumours that a vaccination centre has been hit by strike action.
Major David Clarke confirmed that the centre, located at the Sharon Moravian Church Hall in Sharon, St. Thomas is closed today.
However, he says the closure is as a result of a staff shortage.
Major Clarke could not say if the site will open tomorrow, as he says it depends on the test results.
