President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, is in Barbados on an official visit.
He arrived last evening with his delegation at the Grantley Adams International Airport, before a number of local dignitaries including Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Dr. Jerome Walcott, and Minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs and Chaperone Minister, Kirk Humphrey
The Rwandan President’s visit is expected to include a number of activities, one of which is to co-chair a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister, Mia Amor Mottley this morning.
President Kagame will also pay a courtesy call on the President Dame The Most Honorable Sandra Mason, participate in a press conference, plant a tree in the National Botanical Garden and observe a road tennis match before leaving the island.
