A number of the issues young males face are because parents don’t fully understand the problems of puberty.
This has been one of the main findings of social worker and head of the Men’s Empowerment Network Support Fabian Sargeant, who today graduated 64 boys from the SAFE (Shaping Adolescents for Functioning in their Environment) programme.
Speaking to CBC on International Men’s Day, he said he deliberately concluded the 10-week programme today.
While ongoing for the past six years for both genders, the focus was changed this year.
