Economist, Professor Emeritus Sir Frank Alleyne has died.
He was 84 years old.
Sir Frank served in various roles, as he was a former Chairman of the Financial Services Commission and a former Chairman of the Advisory Council on the Economy.
The accolade of Knight of St. Andrew, Barbados’ highest national honour, was conferred on Sir Frank on November 30, 2012 in recognition of his outstanding contribution to education especially at the tertiary level and for his public service to the people of Barbados.
