Tributes continue to pour in for the late parliamentarian and economist, Professor Emeritus Sir Frank Alleyne, with former Minister of Finance, Christopher Sinckler recognizing his efforts at bringing the average Barbadian closer to public policy matters that affected their daily lives.
Sinckler in a statement says Sir Frank used every opportunity to demystify the so-called dismal science of economics.
He admits he was one of the countless individuals who benefitted from Alleyne’s insights, knowledge and experience and is eternally grateful for having had the opportunity to work closely with him on a number of matters while serving as Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs.
Mr. Sinckler says Sir Frank was the quintessential serviceman for the people of Barbados and though his voice has fallen silent, his legacy as a dedicated educator and servant of the masses will live on for eternity.
