On the heels of the Crop Over climax, there’s been a significant increase in the number of people seeking medical help for flu-like symptoms.
But instead of going to be tested for COVID-19, for the most part, they’re relying on doctors and pharmacies for treatment.
Some medical professionals have confirmed to CBC News there’s been a notable increase in the number of patients complaining for COVID-like symptoms.
Our Shane Sealy visited a number of pharmacies where he’s been hearing much of the same.
