The Barbados Police Service is investigating a stabbing incident which has left one man injured, while the alleged suspect fled the scene.
Public Relations Officer with the Service, Inspector Rodney Inniss, said that they received a report that a 40-year-old male who resides at Greenfield, St. Michael, was involved in an altercation with another man around 7:20 am today, Wednesday 6 July 2022. The incident occurred at that same address.
The victim fled the scene and ran off towards the Central Police Station but collapsed in the car park area just opposite the Central Police Station.
Ambulance personnel were summoned and the man was at the time of reporting awaiting medical attention.
Police quickly responded to the scene and have started their investigations.
