Barbados and the IMF have reached Staff-Level Agreement on the 7th and final review of the Extended Fund Facility.
Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley thanked all who helped to bring the island’s economy to a level of stability over the last three and a half years of the programme.
Speaking at Ilaro Court to the media following the review and addressing Barbados’ suspended debt, she said 98.5% of the debt was now cleared.
