Barbadians must come together to create the unified solution to the gun violence playing out in the country and confront the threat by avoiding reprisals.

Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley, who was speaking in a New Year message, pointed out that if people let matters rest and control themselves, that would be part of the solution.
