A Private Members Resolution brought by Independent Senator Dr. Chelston Brathwaite has won the favour of his fellow Senators as Debate continued in the Upper House today.
It proposes Barbados, in light of the global food crisis, develop an integrated food security plan to reposition the agricultural sector.
Independent Senator Andrew Mallalieu, who rose in support of the Resolution, highlighted efforts to protect and develop other sectors versus those towards food security.
