A donation of tablets to students in the Christ Church East constituency will serve to greatly improve their ability to learn in school.
The presentation was made by Capital Media, in collaboration with the Amarone Charitable Trust, in memory of late broadcaster and education activist, Veoma Ali.
Member of Parliament for the area, Wilfred Abrahams, accepted the donation and noted a similar donation last school year ensured students in his constituency received high scores in the Common Entrance Examination.
Mr. Abrahams says he welcomes the gifts especially during these harsh economic times.
Mr. Abrahams also paid tribute to Veoma Ali and urged Barbadians to adopt her charitable attitude.
