An online showcase aimed at giving young people between the ages of 8 and 29 a chance to display their talents is expected to come off tonight.
Organizer Kevin ‘Sluggy Dan’ Watson says the show will be broadcast via Instagram and as such gives the young artists the opportunity to reach a worldwide audience.
He tells CBC News anyone who has a talent in the arts, not just performing arts, will be given a chance on stage.
Watson, who often works with at risk youth, says the showcase will run for 10 weeks with the possibility for it to be extended.
He explained why he feels its important to leave the door open for the show to run longer.
