The continued transformation of the tourism industry in both the public and private sectors is key as Barbados seeks to remain a competitive destination.
Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley reiterated the point during her address at the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association’s recent 70th anniversary awards.
Pointing out the entity has evolved over the last decades, she underscored the importance of changes for the island’s main sector.
Noting the difficulties of the last two years for the sector, Ms. Mottley says co-operation is critical as the country seeks to return to and surpass pre-pandemic performances.
