The suggestions weren’t short in coming as Barbadians shared their input during the latest town hall meeting on the Draft National Population Policy by the National Population Commission.
Participants pushed the concepts of flexible working hours, called for increased job opportunities and a need for population register.
On the latter, Commissioner Janelle Scantlebury-Mounsey revealed in the absence of such a register, an estimate is undertaken.
