Barbados’ Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates his Excellency Gabriel Abed was this week received by officials in Dubai in an official ceremony.
Ambassador Abed presented his credentials to the Crown Ruler of Dubai his Highness, Sheikh Muhammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, at the Zabeel Palace.
Abed was appointed earlier this year, in keeping with the Government’s focus on strengthening traditional bilateral relations and pursuing new ones.
Ambassador Abed expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley and Senator Dr. Jerome Walcott for the opportunity to bring pride and continuous progress to Barbados.
