The national digital identification card is a few steps closer to reality in Barbados.
This from Minister of Industry, Innovation, Science and Technology, Davidson Ishmael.
He gave an update on the project during a Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry digital conference, held virtually this morning.
The new card will replace the current type, which has now been in use for more than 50 years old.
