Virtual public consultations on proposed Charter of Barbados

The first in a series of virtual public consultations on the proposed Charter of Barbados got underway last evening on CBC TV8.

Members of the Republican Status Transition Advisory Committee were among those participating and they shared some of the important functions they will be undertaking in engaging with the public about the transition.

Chair of the RSTAC Sub-Committee on Fundamental Principles, Rights and Freedoms, Chereda Grannum addressed the significance and the importance of establishing a Charter.
