Barbados Water Authority intends to address problem areas in some St Joseph communities where the water supply has been on and off.
Director of Engineering, Charles Leslie, has been outlining the new plan as he and the BWA Chairman, Stevon Roberts, led Water Wednesdays on a tour on the new reservoir being constructed at Castle Grant.
Once complete, the new reservoir will make 1.5 million gallons available to residents in St Joseph and surrounding areas, which is over five times the capacity of the existing facility.
Mr Leslie assured that when put into service alongside a new pumping station, even residents who are uphill will have a consistent supply.
