Water should be back in the pipeline in Boscobelle and surrounding areas in St. Peter tomorrow as the fix at the St. Peter Bridge in Date Tree Hill is near completion.
Hundreds of residents in parts of the northern parish have been without water for days as crews from the Barbados Water Authority install new eight and three inch mains.
The installations were prompted by an eight inch main rupturing during initial repair work being carried out on the bridge by the Ministry of Transport and Works.
Lead Engineer on the project, Jamal Brathwaite gave an update.
In the interim BWA water tankers will continue to serve affected St. Peter communities.
