Workplaces urged to provide support for employees negatively affected by drug use

An appeal has been made to local employers not to turn their backs on workers caught up in abusing cannabis or other substances.

Instead, the National Council on Substance Abuse wants workplaces to adopt a different approach, providing the necessary support for employees negatively affected by drug use.

Manager of the NCSA, Betty Hunte made the call as she addressed a medicinal cannabis panel discussion at NUPW headquarters.
