Barbados’s tourism industry could expect a positive spinoff as the world economy continues to recover.
That was the message from Central Bank Governor Cleviston Haynes, as he delivered the feature address at the Barbados Hotel And Tourism Association’s fourth quarterly meeting today.
Mr Haynes says the past twenty-one months have been very challenging for everyone in tourism but notes that there are positive signs.
The bank official told the tourism top brass that the impact of COVID-19 has been acute, but the programmes implemented by the government have been bearing fruit.
