CARICOM leaders are meeting in Nassau, Bahamas to discuss pressing issues facing the region.
The forum is the 44th Regular Meeting of Heads of Government of CARICOM and it began today with a call to urgently address the situation in Haiti.
Wendy Burke tells us while the opening ceremony was filled with pomp and pageantry, serious issues, including food security and climate financing, were also on the agenda.
