In Jamaica, the monkeypox patient who escaped from isolation at the May Pen Hospital this afternoon has been found.
Media reports are that he was taken into custody at his home.
In a statement, the Health Ministry had revealed that the man, reportedly a Jamaican ctizen with residency status in the UK, jumped through a window at the hospital some time after noon and left in a waiting motorcar.
May Pen Hospital officials are to meet to discuss how to improve security at the facility to prevent a similar occurrence.
