Beach users and property owners are being warned about potentially dangerous sea conditions.
This as the Met Office issues a Small Craft and High Surf Advisory due to above normal sea swells.
According to Acting Director of the Barbados Meteorological Services, Brian Murray, swells ranging between 5 and 10 feet are forecast and will produce unsafe sea conditions, particularly along the northern and western coasts.
Mr. Murray tells CBC News the above normal swells are expected to increase from Friday and persist over the weekend.
