A Flash Flood Warning remains in effect for Barbados.
A Flash Flood Warning is issued when rapid flooding due to heavy or excessive rainfall in a short period of time (generally less than 6 hours) is occurring or is imminent in the warning area.
In its latest statement, the Barbados Meteorological Services says rainfall accumulations of 10.0 to 35.0 mm have already been recorded across the island, with additional accumulations of 10.0 to 50.0 mm in moderate to heavy showers expected throughout the night.
Conditions are saturated in some areas, particularly in the southern sections of the island.
