There are doubts over Thursday’s 3rd T20 International between the Windies and hosts Pakistan, as there are more positive COVID cases in the West Indies team.
Reports reaching CBC indicate there are five new cases in the touring party, including Bowling Coach Roddy Estwick, ODI skipper Shai Hope, batsman Justin Greaves, spinner Akeal Hosein along with the team physician Dr. Akshai Mansingh all catching the dreaded virus.
That now makes it nine members of the Windies party who have COVID, with Roston Chase, Kyle Mayers and Sheldon Cottrell having been ruled out previously from the tour, along with Dario Barthley – the CWI Media and Content Executive.
With more testing being done, a decision is pending on the rest of matches on the tour schedule.
There has been no official word from CWI as yet concerning these reports.
