Over in the Bahamas, the Barbados CARIFTA track and field team is settling in ahead of Saturday’s start of the 50th edition of those games.
Following a light training session on Wednesday after arrival, the team had their first official training session at the Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium Thursday evening, as seen in the video compliments the Athletic Association of Barbados.
The 23-member team went through stretches, followed by drill work.
The opening ceremony is set for 4 p.m. today, with action scheduled to start at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
