Barbados men will take on St. Vincent and the Grenadines tonight, as international football returns to the Barbados Football Association’s headquarters in Wildey, St. Michael.
The Tridents will be hoping to extinguish the Vincy Heat team in that friendly, as they continue preparations for upcoming CONCACAF Nations League matches against Cuba and Antigua and Barbuda.
A 23-member Barbados squad was announced last evening, with only one change from their three-match series against Grenada.
Elijah Downey of Wotton replaces Kevon Lucas of Notre Dame in the midfield.
Head coach Orlando Dacosta says his players are hungry for victory, especially on home turf.
Additionally, he says while they scored five goals against Grenada they also conceded five goals but the team is headed in the right direction.
That Barbados versus St. Vincent and the Grenadines match starts at 8 p.m.
