There were mixed fortunes for the Alleyne School and the St. Michael School when the National Sports Council’s U16 Volleyball League served off.
St. Michael hosted their opponents from the north, and it was the Alleyne Girls who triumphed over the SMS Cougars 25-17, 25-19.
The script was flipped however in the boys match up, as the Cougars were the ones to win, also in straight sets.
CBC’s Ann-Marie Burke reports on that boys’ game.
