Road Tennis Elite Academy and Chelston Wheezers have booked their place in tomorrow’s final of the Village Camp Shotgun Road Tennis Championship.
Playing in the semi-finals at the Deighton “Pa” Roach facility, the Academy defeated Belfield Blues “A” team 3-2.
The match was tied at 1-all after Belfield’s Tyrico Brathwaite upset Kenoja Belgrave 21-15 in the first fixture.
Then Maudlyn Blunt of the Academy dispatched Rachel Smith 21-18 in the ladies showdown.
In semi-final #2 Chelston Wheezers sealed a 3-2 win over Bush Hall Whites.
The final will be played at the Deighton “Pa” Roach facility in Bush Hall tomorrow at 6:00 p.m., but meanwhile here’s a look at some of the action with our Damien Best.
