IOC President gives BOA the thumbs-up

The Barbados Olympic Association has received the thumbs-up from President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach for its organisation.

Speaking at a cocktail reception hosted by the BOA in his honour during a recent three-day visit to the island, Bach pledged the IOC’s continued support to the Olympic movement in Barbados.

Meanwhile, Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment Charles Griffith, urged the coaches of local organisations to continue to safeguard the island’s youth.
