Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley says agriculture continues to be a key pillar of economic growth for the island, and she’s welcomed the level of innovation in the sector that has been exhibited at this year’s Agrofest.
The Prime Minister made the comment on the sidelines of the exhibits at Agrofest.
She toured several of them throughout the day and engaged with agricultural officials and exhibitors.
Prime Minister Mottley says using the old plantation type model will no longer work for a number of reasons.
