When the 2023 Grammy Awards show gets underway tomorrow night at 7 in Los Angeles, a Barbadian will be among the nominees.
Recording artiste Amanda Reifer has been nominated for her first Grammy in the Best Melodic Rap Performance category, for her feature on Kendrick Lamar’s track ‘Die Hard’ as well as in the Writing category for her contribution to his album.
Ms. Reifer spoke to CBC News on what the nomination means, ahead of one of the biggest nights of her career.
She also revealed that she will be releasing her own album this year, describing it as a melting pot of culture.
