The Barbados Police Service has embarked on a massive recruitment drive.
It is ramping up efforts to attract 248 good men and women to join its ranks.
Earlier today it mounted a four hour recruitment drive at Sheraton Mall.
Station Sergeant Alvin Chandler of the Human Resources Department says applicants must be between the ages of 19 and 35 with at least three CXCs..
He says the drive is critical to boosting numbers and ensuring the continuation of the organisation.
Station Sergeant Chandler adds there is a lot of room for growth and development in the Service as policing involves more than crime scenes and traffic.
