With Christmas approaching, Government Senator, Gregory Nicholls wants focus placed on entities that are popping up offering cash loans.
He believes this must be done as there is no real consumer advocacy group to assess the products they are offering.
His comments came as he contributed to debate in the Senate on the Financial Services Commission Amendment Bill 2022 on Wednesday.
