The night time curfew in Barbados has been extended by another two weeks.
According to the Official Gazette,
Number 14 will be in effect from August 9th to August 22nd.
The current directive is set to expire tomorrow.
Under the new directive, only essential workers and people who have an emergency are allowed to leave home between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. each day.
Fetes, private parties, bus crawls and karaoke events are still not permitted.
Permission granted by the COVID-19 Protocol Monitoring Unit, to the owner or operator of a place of public entertainment to host an event has been suspended for the duration of this Directive, while permission to host a summer camp has been revoked.
