The Barbados-based Caribbean Examinations Council, suggests Barbados and other countries in the region know the current education system must be repositioned and reformed.
Registrar and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Wayne Wesley says this has been evident as countries emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic.
He was speaking at the opening of the 48th Annual International Association for Educational Assessment Conference in Jamaica.
He says while digital innovation has played a significant role during the pandemic, it’s important countries navigate the new paradigm.
The five-day conference ongoing in Jamaica is being held under the theme “Digitalising Assessments and Credentials”.
