Renowned Barbadian journalist, David Ellis, will no longer be moderating radio call-in programme, ‘Down to Brasstacks’.
He made that announcement this morning, just months after retiring from the Starcom Network Inc. in February.
The veteran broadcaster encouraged local media entities to uphold their integrity, while stating that he will continue to work in another area of communications:
Time has come for me to take fresh guard, to move on to another aspect of communications.
Of that I will not speak at this time, I expect that we will discuss that later.
He thanked the public for their support over the years:
“So I have come this morning to say thank you and good bye from Down to Brasstacks.”
