Good news this morning as the police report that the man found wandering in Christ Church on Thursday has been safely returned to a home for the homeless in Spry Street, St. Michael.
Police Communications and Public Affairs Officer, Inspector Rodney Inniss said it was Thursday’s online appeal for the public to help the police to identify the man that led to him being quickly re-housed at the shelter.
“Thank you for your quick response in this matter. A member of the public saw our request online and called the Oistins Police Station to give us information,” he said early Saturday morning.
The elderly man was found wandering in Gall Hill, Christ Church around 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2023. He gave his name as Claudius Griffith, but could not state his address. (PR/SNR)
