An explosion and electrical fire forced the closure of Hill’s Supermarket on Roebuck Street today.
General Manager Gerhard Ashby told CBC News no injuries were recorded.
Driver Adrian Kellman said the noise startled staff who fled the building.
Station Officer Emmerson White said eight officers and two tenders from the Bridgetown Port and the Pine Station responded to the fire.
