Organisers have introduced a number of changes to this year’s Republic Bank 2024 Sir Charles Williams International Game Fishing Tournament.
Set for April 9-13 at Port St. Charles, the plan is designed to encourage more local participation and to welcome smaller boats.
During the launch at Port St. Charles, Barbados Game Fishing Association President Paul Hamel-Smith said since announcing the changes, they have seen an uptick in entries, which have more than doubled in comparison to last year.
Supporting the tournament since 2014, Republic Bank took over as title sponsor in last year’s edition and General Manager Stephen Jordan says the bank is pleased to do it once again.
The competition days will be April 10, 11 and 13.
