A cross-section of entertainers, businessmen and cricketers assembled at the grounds of the Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute of Technology for a “T20 Cricket Classic”, honouring the godfather of entertainment in Barbados, Richard Stoute.
Activities started with a family fun day, organised by former Member of Parliament, Hamilton Lashley, and the Richard Stoute Teen Talent Committee.
Man-of-the-moment Richard Stoute told CBC News he is honoured by the initiative.
Mr. Stoute said he wants to continue inspiring people and offered some advice.
The T20 Cricket Classic pitted the Hamilton Lashley Lions against the Norquest Tigers on Saturday evening.
