Barbados is removing the mask mandate and rolling back all COVID-19 travel protocols from tomorrow.
This was disclosed just after five this evening by Acting Prime Minister Santia Bradshaw during a COVID-19 update.
The decision is based on the island’s low COVID-19 positivity rate and consultation with the Emergency Operations Committee.
The Acting Prime Minister also announced the discontinuation of all COVID-19 travel protocols.
Attorney General Dale Marshall says in the event of a COVID spike or some other development, there are legal provisions to deal with the matter.
