President of the Barbados Private Sector Association, Trisha Tannis, says the Compact, which was officially signed by Government, the private sector and labour at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre this morning, is not just a piece of paper.
The agreement is aimed at easing the prices of select goods.
Ms. Tannis says the compact is being signed by the majority of the island’s price influencers.
However she wants the public to be mindful the Association can’t control every retailer.
