Rape accused remanded

Jamel Lorenzo Hunte of Watermans Terrace, Green Hill, St. Michael, was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison after facing four charges, some of which were surrounding events at the Frederick Smith Secondary School, which shocked the nation.

This after he appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Graveney Bannister to face four charges.

Hunte is charged with:

•Rape of a Minor – 5th June 2023 

•Rape of a Minor  – 15th June 2023 

•Indecent Exposure – 15th June 2023 whilst on Folkestone Road, St James

•Trespass – The Frederick Smith Secondary School, Trents, St. James

He is scheduled to reappear at the Holetown Court on Friday, July 21, 2023, as well as the Juvenile Court on Monday, July 24, 2023.
