The volleyball fraternity is mourning the passing of the national youth team Coach Patrick Oxley.
Coach Oxley, 49, passed away yesterday after a short illness.
He was the brother of former Barbados Captain Elwyn Oxley, and father of national player Akeel Oxley.
The officers and members of the Barbados Volleyball Association extend deepest sympathies to the families and friends of Oxley, and also of former Division One player Anthony Trotman of Wellhouse Pirates – a retired teacher of Princess Margaret Secondary who died Monday.
As a mark of respect, today’s volleyball fixtures were postponed.
